The Day After
All missionaries are safe. We moved some missionaries last evening to safer locations. This morning some more missionaries will move to areas where there is power. Here is a link to Reuters' news that has an excellent summary of events (Reuters' Video Report).
We will post another update by 7:15 am (CST). Additionally, we will inform parents if their visa missionaries who were scheduled to leave for Brazil yesterday are leaving today and who will be leaving on Monday instead.
Through local priesthood leaders, some of our missionaries in Tuscaloosa were already involved in clean-up yesterday. They have been checking on members of the Church and neighbors. We will continue to help were needed today.
